Renita L. Forrest is a native Detroiter and a graduate of Wayne State University and WMU Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Attorney Forrest has dedicated her career to public service. Prior to completing law school, Attorney Forrest clerked for Judges at the Wayne County Probate Court, Oakland County Circuit Court, and Michigan Court of Appeals. As a first generation college graduate, Attorney Forrest is a huge proponent of higher education. Attorney Forrest's professional affiliations includes the following : State Bar of Michigan, D. Augustus Straker Bar Association, Wayne County Probate Bar Association, Detroit Bar Association, and Oakland County Bar Association.
